The beauty of Alana De La Garza has made an impression on small screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. She moved to Texas in order to pursue the career of a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from finding out that she was a fan of acting. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she landed her first acting role for the television show All My Children. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko, as well as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. She played her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Her audition was considered one of only four girls. Milano appeared on the television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions including the musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
